SAVERA: NEW RAYS ON THE HORIZON.

     These are several issues that women have to face in their daily lives. Unfortunately, breast cancer is not high in priority.
     One of the reasons for this is our belief that not worrying about it will lead to not being afflicted by it. It's like something that always happens to someone else. Which is why it is vital to understand the importance of this issue and undergo regular check-ups to ensure good health.
     There is a great need to increase awareness about the importance of regular check-ups when women reach a particular age. Because symptoms of breast cancer appear often the cancer has spread, it makes treatment difficult, agonising and uncertain.

 SAVERA: THE DAWN OF NEW HOPE:
 WOMEN'S CANCER INITIATIVE TATA  MEMORIAL HOSPITAL.

      SAVERA is a foundation which focuses on various issues related to cancers in women. Devieka S Bhojwani in association with the Tata Memorial Hospital has set up a foundation to engage itself proactively with various issues related to cancers in women such as breast, cervical and ovarian cancers. However, the initial focus continues to be breast cancer.
     This foundation is based at the Tata Memorial Hospital, one of the most prestigious organisations in the country working on therapy, education and research on caner.
